Kimmy Duong, 22, is a Monash University graduate who has completed a Bachelor of Business (Marketing).

The youngest in a family of five, Kimmy is an outgoing family person who aspires to be as humble and hard working as her parents.

Kimmy enjoys keeping busy and in addition to maintaining Lash Empire, works in customer service at the National Australia Bank (NAB) and has also recently pursued a side hobby as a makeup artist.

In March 2015 Kimmy founded recently established

e-commerce business Lash Empire, a company that retails false eyelashes for women of all demographics.

While Kimmy does not have any certified qualifications, she has been exposed to the cosmetics industry since she was a child by assisting her mum who worked as a freelance hair and make up artist.

This aspect of Kimmy's life became the roots to her passion for beauty and how Lash Empire became a reality.

Outside of Kimmy's busy work schedule, she enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle with hobbies including fitness, cooking as well as photography.

ABOUT LASH EMPIRE

Kimmy had noticed that the Australian market lacked an online retailer that sells good quality false eyelashes. With overseas trends showing great potential in this product category, and with the declining Australian dollar, Kimmy solely invested in her brand - Lash Empire.

Having done extensive amounts of research, Kimmy reached out to a manufacture that would help make customer designed false eyelashes. This being a unique point of difference from the mass produced styles that competitors currently offer.

Lash Empire offers two types of eyelashes with a total of 8 different styles: Authentic Siberian mink hair (retailing at $25 per pair) and preimum quality synthetic lashes (retailing at $20 per pair).

Kimmy aims to lauch Lash Empire by the end of November 2015.
